Rates and Discounts
Yes, DHL Express provides discounts on international shipping rates to business account holders:
- If you open a DHL Express Business Shipping Account, you’ll be eligible for volume-based discounts that increase automatically the more you ship – without needing to negotiate or track thresholds.
- If you open a credit business account, you’ll qualify for tailored discounts based on your shipping activity and business profile.

Pickup and Drop-off
Yes. You can arrange a convenient time for DHL Express to collect your shipment from your location. Our pickup options support fast delivery and same day delivery where available.
You or a representative must be present when the courier arrives to collect the parcel you are sending. For security reasons, we’re unable to collect parcels that are left in 'safe places'. If you have arranged for a parcel to be collected from your office and you leave the parcel at reception, you must ensure that someone is there to hand it over to the DHL Express courier.
You can drop off your DHL Express shipment at a local DHL Express ServicePoint or authorized partner location. To find one, go to the DHL Express ServicePoint Locator and follow these steps:
- Select your service type (Send, Collect, or Send & Collect)
- Choose a payment method (e.g., pay at the ServicePoint or use a prepaid label)
- Select a handling option (print at location, use a QR code, or bring a label)
- Enter your ZIP code to view available drop-off points, hours, and services
Track your shipment on our DHL Tracking Tool by entering the 10-digit tracking number.

Packaging and Shipping Supplies
DHL Express is committed to delivering your parcels with speed and care. However, parcels should be packed to withstand the normal rigors of road and aircraft handling and transportation.
Packing your parcels with the right materials and care helps ensure they arrive safely and intact. To protect your shipment, you should:
- Assess what you’re trying to send – consider the weight, cost, regulations and fragility of the contents
- Choose your packaging based on its material, strength and size
- Pack your goods correctly, leaving no empty space in the box, placing items in the center of the box and wrapping items individually
- Seal your parcel correctly using the right tape and ensuring all the seams are sealed
- Display your labels clearly and include a spare label inside the package
