Dr. Bertalan Mesko, PhD, known as The Medical Futurist, is the Director of The Medical Futurist Institute. He specializes in analyzing the impact of science fiction technologies on global medicine and healthcare.

As a geek physician with a PhD in genomics, he is also an Amazon Top 100 author and serves as a Private Professor at Semmelweis Medical School in Budapest, Hungary.

Dr. Mesko has delivered over 900 keynotes at prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, and Yale Universities, as well as organizations like the WHO and the world's top 10 pharmaceutical companies. His insights on healthcare technology have made him a leading global voice in the field.

  • As President of Life Sciences and Healthcare, Claudia Roa is responsible for driving growth and developing sector strategy, enabling and driving the development of best-fit end-to-end innovative solutions on a global scale. She is a member of the Customer Solutions & Innovation Global Senior Management Team and heads the DHL Life Sciences & Healthcare Global Senior Management team and the Customer Logistics Advisory Board.

    Claudia is a supply chain professional with over 33 years of experience. She started her career working for AEI/Florcarga in Colombia. After the acquisition of the company by DHL, Claudia relocated from Colombia to the USA in 2003. Since then she has held various leadership positions across several sectors. Since 2017 she led the Life Sciences & Healthcare sector in the Americas region moving then to her current global role in July 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Javeriana of Bogota, Colombia. Claudia resides in Miami, FL with her family.

  • Ilhami Arslanoglu was appointed as the Vice President for Life Sciences and Healthcare of DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation, EMEA in 2020. Passionate about the life sciences and healthcare industry, he leads a team responsible for the Group’s top customers in the region, leading and providing senior counsel to help simplify and manage complex international supply chains for the world’s leading enterprises. Since 2023, Ilhami has assumed additional responsibilities as the Regional Head for CSI in Europe.

    Ilhami first joined DHL in 2007 as DHL Supply Chain EMEA’s Vice President for Automotive and Industrial, where he was responsible for driving the automotive and industrial development business. He then moved to DHL Global Customer Solutions in EMEA as VP of Automotive where he developed the passenger vehicle sub-sector for the Group and grew the company’s share of business from major automotive manufacturers globally. He has 30 years of logistics industry experience – with more than 20 years especially focused on the dynamic and swiftly evolving automotive logistics industry.

  • Tim Tetzlaff leads DHL Supply Chain’s Accelerated Digitalization & Automation agenda. Leveraging DHL Supply Chain’s unique scale of 2,000+ operations and 180,000+ colleagues worldwide, he is responsible for identifying, productizing and rolling out key digital and automation technologies across DHL Supply Chain’s global network of sites. As of 2024, DHL Supply Chain has deployed 7,200+ projects as part of this agenda – which include thousands of collaborative robots, data analytics tools and wearables.

    Tim has a background in technology management, economics and management consulting.

  • As Head of Sustainability in DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI), Florian Schwarz is responsible to drive the Sustainability agenda for and with the top 100 customers across the Deutsche Post DHL divisions. This includes achieving a carbon footprint reduction through the GoGreen product portfolio of clean fuel & technology, supply-chain optimization, and circularity solutions. It also means educating DHL’s sales organization on sustainability and demonstrating thought leadership inside and outside of the organization.

    In his previous role in DHL CSI, Florian was responsible for the Program Office and the Coronavirus Customer Taskforce. Before that, with DHL Global Forwarding, Florian created and lead the After-Sales Organization which took customer reporting and issue resolution to a new level, building on his extended experience as Lean Six-Sigma Blackbelt and Head of Strategy France. Florian holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and lived and worked in different countries in Europe and Americas.
