Coldplay has wowed music fans around the world since their formation in 1997 in London, England. Twenty-eight years later, the phenomenal pop-rock group continues to make history in their Music Of The Spheres World Tour, hosting the first international concert at the newly opened Kai Tak Stadium.
Furthermore, the state-of-the-art venue has announced DHL Express as its Official Partner, collaborating to deliver world-class mega events to Hong Kong and enhance the city’s status as a global event hub.

A highlight of every Coldplay show, the iconic LED wristbands pulsate with light – making every fan part of a spectacular stadium ‘full of stars’. Adorned with the DHL logo, these wristbands are made from plant-based, compostable material, reminding fans of Coldplay and DHL’s sustainability mission as they light up with the music, creating a sea of colors with every beat.
When Coldplay first announced the Music Of The Spheres world tour in 2021, they set an ambitious goal to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50% compared to their previous tour – and they've partnered with DHL to make it happen! By utilizing DHL’s GoGreen Plus Service, the tour reduced airfreight emissions by 1,078 tonnes of CO2e in 2023 alone. In collaboration with DHL and its partners, the band has reduced direct CO2e emissions by 59% in the first two years of this tour compared to their 2016-17 stadium tour on a show-by-show basis.
