The DHL x Absurd Laboratory BFFS Upcycled Collection gives Hong Kong and Taiwan retired DHL courier uniforms a second life — transforming polo shirts and cargo pants into distinctive fashion accessories that celebrate circularity, creativity, and impact.
Each item in the collection is thoughtfully upcycled, extending the life of existing materials while reducing environmental impact. Even better, 100% of profits from the charity sale are donated to Redress, supporting the next generation of sustainable fashion designers.

DHL x Redress: DHL GoGreen Plus Alumni Prize
To support the development of local sustainable fashion designers, DHL partnered with Redress to launch the DHL GoGreen Plus Alumni Prize in Redress Design Award, challenging Redress Alumni to upcycle retired DHL uniforms into functional fashion and accessories.
Eric Wong, founder of Absurd Laboratory, was named the 2025 winner, recognised for his innovative transformation of unused DHL uniforms. Eric also received HK$30,000 in DHL shipping credits to support the growth of his brand and sustainable design practice.
Meet the Designer: Eric Wong, Absurd Laboratory
Since participating in the Redress Design Award Hong Kong 2011, Eric has continued to develop his sustainable womenswear and menswear brand, Absurd Laboratory, in which he creates non-trend led collections by up-cycling off-cuts and end-of-roll textiles sourced from manufacturers as well as post consumer garments.
Eric’s customer base reaches Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, America, and the brand has also been producing numerous custom pieces for public figures around the world. Eric has a longstanding collaboration with Hong Kong’s local vintage retail store, Midwest Vintage. His innovative creations remade from the store’s existing garments are sold under the label Midwest Lab in multiple store locations across Hong Kong.
