DHL Express On Demand Delivery Service allows shippers and receivers to select from a range of standardised delivery options for hassle-free cross-border shipping experiences.
With On Demand Delivery, shippers can choose to activate specific delivery options and have DHL Express proactively notify their customers via email or SMS about a shipment’s progress. Receivers can then select the delivery option that best suits their requirements via the On Demand Delivery mobile-optimised website. DHL Express couriers will be notified of these delivery preferences in real-time, ensuring shipments are received at the right time and at the convenience of the receiver.
Receivers can change the delivery date of the shipment if the originally scheduled date is not convenient for them
Receivers can choose to collect the shipment at a nearby DHL ServicePoint, Partner ServicePoint or parcel lockers
Receivers can authorise us to leave the shipment with an immediate neighbour, concierge or guard
Receivers can request us to deliver the shipment to a different address (for example, their workplace)
If on holiday, Receivers can change the delivery date up to 30 calendar days from the originally scheduled date
Receivers authorise delivery without collecting a signature
