DHL has been operating in Poland for 35 years and pays all applicable taxes, social security contributions and other public-law charges. The company does not transfer its profits abroad, and any claims suggesting otherwise are inconsistent with the facts and misleading.
DHL eCommerce is currently developing its out-of-home delivery network. Out of Home. We are installing parcel lockers and opening pickup points across Poland. This development requires significant financial investment. The scale of our investments has a significant impact on the amount of corporate income tax (CIT) paid by DHL.
As the DHL Group, we employ nearly 10,000 people in Poland and invest extensively in development, supporting, among others, the construction, industrial, energy and technology sectors. We cooperate with thousands of local companies and are developing an offering that increases market competitiveness – benefiting both businesses and individual customers. At the same time, we enable Polish companies to access international markets, supporting their growth beyond Poland's borders.
According to an analysis by TOR Economic Advisors, in 2025 the courier industry contributed PLN 27.2 billion to Poland's GDP through investments, taxes, wages and social security contributions. DHL eCommerce accounts for a significant share of this contribution and is one of the three courier companies with the greatest impact on the development of the Polish economy.
