As a result of changes to German postal law, from 01.01.2025, parcels over 10 kg will need additional labelling on address labels from the year onwards.
- Change applies to shipments up to 31.5 kg - DHL Parcel Connect and DHL Parcel Connect Plus
- a pictogram indicating the weight range of the consignment will appear on the label
- the pictogram will be created in DHL tools on the basis of the weight declared by the customer
- compliance of the scales with the pictogram will be verified in an operational process in Germany
- in case of non-compliance, the information on the label will be corrected
- shipments with incorrect pictograms will be processed manually, which can impact delivery time and generate additional cost
DHL PARCEL CONNECT
SHIPMENT WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS (INCLUDING PACKAGING):
- single piece shipments with a maximum weight of 31.5 kg not on pallet
- Maximum standard shipment dimensions of 120 x 60 x 60 cm if any of the sides exceeds the additional element surcharge.
- minimum shipment dimensions 15 x 11 x 1 cm
- maximum length of 200 cm shipment (Not applicable for Italy. Maximum length of shipment is 120 cm)
- maximum shipment circuit cannot exceed 360 cm
The shipment circuit is calculated by 1 x length + 2 x width + 2 x height
UK WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS – SIMPLIFIED CHECK-IN:
- single piece shipments up to 30 kg
- maximum standard dimensions 100 x 50 x 50 cm
- minimum dimensions 15 x 11 x 1 cm
- maximum length of shipment 150 cm
- maximum circuit must not exceed 300 cm (1 x length + 2 x width + 2 x height)
DHL PARCEL CONNECT PLUS
SHIPMENT WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS (INCLUDING PACKAGING):
- shipments up to 15 items with maximum item weight of 31.5 kg not on pallet
- maximum standard shipment dimensions 120 x 60 x 60 cm. If any of the sides above the specified dimensions are charged for the custom element surcharge
- minimum shipment dimensions 15 x 11 x 1 cm
- maximum shipment length 200 cm maximum shipment circumference cannot exceed 360 cm
The shipment circuit is calculated by 1 x length + 2 x width + 2 x height
DHL PARCEL RETURN CONNECT
SHIPMENT WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS (INCLUDING PACKAGING):
- single piece shipments up to 31.5 kg non-palletized
- maximum dimensions of a standard parcel 120 x 60 x 60 cm (if any of the sides exceeds the above-mentioned dimensions, an additional fee is charged for a non-standard element)
- minimum shipment dimensions 15 x 11 x 1 cm
- maximum length of 200 cm shipment, except for Italy, where maximum shipment length is 120 cm
- maximum shipment circuit cannot exceed 360 cm

- Maximum dimensions: Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Sweden - 1 x 0.5 x 0.5 cm; Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia - 0.6 x 0.36 x 0.6 cm; Greece - 0.6 x 0.6 x 0.4 cm; Slovakia - 0.8 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm; Italy - 0.6 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm

In the event that any of the sides exceeds the above-mentioned dimensions, an additional fee is charged for a non-standard element. - minimum shipment dimensions 15 x 11 x 1 cm

- maximum shipment circuit cannot exceed 300 cm

DHL PARCEL CONNECT PALLET - HALF PALLET
SHIPMENT WEIGHT AND DIMENSIONS (INCLUDING PACKAGING):
- Semi-palletized shipments can contain up to 5 items:
- maximum element weight - 200 kg
- maximum weight shipments – 1000 kg
- maximum standard shipment dimensions 80 x 60 x 160 cm
In case of cross dimensions, a DHL Parcel Connect Pallet – Pallet is requalified
DHL PARCEL CONNECT PALLET - PALLET

- Pallet shipments may contain up to 5 items:
- Maximum item weight – 1000 kg (for shipments directed to Germany, Czech Republic and Sweden - 800 kg)
- maximum shipment weight - 2500 kg
- maximum standard shipment dimensions 120 x 80 x 200 cm
- maximum width of pallet 100 cm
