FUEL AND ROAD SURCHARGE
The fuel and road surcharge is a surcharge applied in domestic and international transport, added to the basic net price of each shipment.
The fee is calculated based on the wholesale prices of Ekodiesel diesel oil, published by Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen S.A.
As fuel prices fluctuate, the toll is indexed monthly and its update is published no later than the first day of the month in which it is applicable.
From April 1, 2022, a differentiation was introduced in the amount of the DHL Parcel fuel and road surcharge for shipments weighing up to 31.5 kg and over 31.5 kg.
Domestic and international DHL Parcel courier services:
shipments up to 31.5 kg - fee: 19.50%
shipments over 31.5 kg - fee: 29.40%
shipments up to 31.5 kg - fee: 20,50%
shipments over 31.5 kg - fee: 31,00%
shipments up to 31.5 kg - fee: 21.50%
shipments over 31.5 kg - fee: 32.60%
The index for a given month is determined on the basis of the arithmetic mean of prices from the first two weeks of the previous month, related to the published index value table:
DHL Parcel reserves the right to change the fuel and road surcharge and the method of its calculation by placing the amount of the fuel and road surcharge on the official website of DHL Parcel.
