DHL Express, the world’s leading international express service provider has named Melbourne-based ELIYA The Label as winner of this year’s ‘Launch Your Label to the World Stage’ campaign. The campaign aimed to find Australia’s next emerging designer label and provide the winner with mentorship on how to expand their reach in international markets.
Louise Elia, Creative Director at ELIYA The Label said, “Since founding the company three years ago, it has always been my ambition to bring meticulously designed garments to women around the world. I entered the DHL competition thinking this would truly be an exciting opportunity for me to take my label global with the strong support of an international logistics company. I am extremely honoured to be selected.”
ELIYA The Label will receive AU $5,000 (€3,333) worth of international shipping credits with DHL Express, exposure to DHL Express’ followers on social media platforms and the opportunity to attend Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia for a one-on-one meeting with Andrew Serrano, Vice President, Global Designer Relations at IMG Fashion and an exclusive tour.
