DHL eCommerce and CTT Express sign a strategic partnership in Iberia
On 12 May 2026, DHL eCommerce and CTT Expresso officially signed their strategic alliance, marking the start of a partnership aimed at creating the most comprehensive and efficient parcel network in the Iberian Peninsula for B2B and B2C services, including out-of-home solutions.
This agreement represents a key step towards strengthening our value proposition, combining high-efficiency networks whilst maintaining independent brands and a clear, complementary operating model.
What does this agreement mean for you as a customer in Spain?
In Spain, collaboration is structured in a very clear way:
- DHL eCommerce Spain: It maintains and strengthens its leading position in B2B services, with greater capacity, coverage and operational stability.
- CTT Express (Spain): It focuses on B2C services, specifically consumer delivery.
- Cross-border solutions: Thanks to DHL’s extensive and robust international network, customers benefit from more efficient, reliable and far-reaching cross-border shipping solutions, making it easier for them to expand their business beyond the domestic market.
This combination of specialist networks enables us to build on our respective strengths and offer you a better service, both nationally and internationally.
What hasn't changed for you?
We want to send you a very clear message:
- Your services with DHL eCommerce Spain remain unchanged
- Your contracts, terms and conditions, and current operations remain unchanged
- We will continue to operate as usual.
- There are no changes to your business and operational contacts.
Our focus remains the same: to provide you with a reliable, high-quality service that supports your growth.
What benefits will this partnership bring in the medium and long term?
The signing of this agreement enables us to:
- Capable of handling up to 1 million shipments per day
- Take advantage of a shared network of thousands of convenience outlets and lockers
- To further boost connectivity with DHL eCommerce’s European and international network
- Supporting the growth of e-commerce with more efficient and scalable solutions
All this whilst maintaining the specialisation and B2B focus that characterise DHL eCommerce Spain, thereby reducing the impact of B2C peaks.
Brands and positioning
The agreement is being implemented whilst maintaining separate brands, in accordance with the following structure:
- B2B: DHL together with CTT Express
- B2C: CTT Express together with DHL
This approach ensures continuity, clarity and trust for you as a DHL eCommerce customer.
Our commitment to you
This strategic partnership reinforces our commitment to remaining a strong and reliable logistics partner, capable of supporting you in increasingly demanding and competitive B2B and B2C markets.
We will continue to keep you updated on any relevant developments, and, as always, your usual team at DHL eCommerce Spain is on hand to answer any questions you may have.
