The IMO standard determines the limit of sulfur content set by the OMI, where it is vessels must use a fuel oil with a maximum content of 0.5% sulfur, compared to 3.5% current because it is a very harmful substance for humans and its environmental environment. 

Due to the measures to be taken by vessels to comply with regulations, the holiday companies are reporting an increase in maritime freight.

 So we are forced to apply a new supplement to shipments where transportation or part of transportation is made by sea:

  • Applies to all shipments originating or destined to Balearic Islands, including inter-islands trams
