When you send a parcel with DHL Parcel UK, we'll keep your customers informed at every step of the journey with regular email and text notifications as well as our live online tracker.
When your parcel is collected, we'll send an email to your customer letting them know the day their parcel will be delivered. This contains a link to our live online tracker. On the morning of the delivery, we'll send a 1-hour window when the parcel will be delivered. Your customer can also opt-in to receive a 'You're next' text when they are the next stop on the driver's route.
We also have a number of rescheduling options should your customer not be home at the time of the delivery. They can choose to have their parcel delivered to a neighbour, safe place or DHL Parcel UK ServicePoint instead. Rest assured that if you are sending something valuable, you are able to restrict the rescheduling options which are made available to your customer at account level.
By keeping your customers informed of the whereabouts of their parcel and providing easy rescheduling options, we are confident that you will receive less queries into your customer services team about deliveries.
