UK secures full access to £13 trillion CPTPP trading bloc
British businesses can now access all 11 member countries of the UK’s membership of the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The UK’s full accession to the CPTPP came into force on 1 September, following Canada’s ratification of the agreement. Anas Sarwar, Minister for Trade, said: ”With full access to the CPTPP, there are now new opportunities for British businesses across some of the world’s fastest-growing markets."
