POLICY AND SERVICE UPDATES

Zonal Changes

As part of our ongoing review of the network, we will be making a small adjustment to the zoning of postcodes FK17-21 and PA20 which will move into Zone D. This change reflects the additional distance and resources needed to serve these areas. We appreciate that even minor changes can have an impact, and we have been mindful to keep this update as limited and targeted as possible.

Our priority remains in maintaining consistent service levels while continuing to invest in our network to support your business.

Clean Air Zones

In line with changes to local environmental regulations and the way deliveries are increasingly being made in urban areas, we are updating our approach from a ‘Congestion Zone’ model to a ‘Clean Air Zone’ model. This reflects the continued expansion of clean air and low-emissions schemes across the UK, as well as the additional compliance costs in operating vehicles and alternative delivery solutions. As a result, we will be aligning our pricing to include additional postcodes within the following areas, including Beckton, Bristol, Cambridge, Colliers Wood, Guernsey, Lakeside, the London Congestion Zone (including Gemini), London ULEZ, Wimbledon, Old Kent Road Cargo Bikes and Oxford.

These changes become effective on 26th January 2026.

City Congestion Charge

DHL eCommerce UK has a City Congestion Charge effective from December 2024 for all consignments to postcodes commencing:

E1 6, E1 7, E1 8, EC1, EC2, EC3, EC4, N1 9, NW1 2, NW1 3, NW 1 5, SE1, SE11, SW1, W1, W2 2, WC1, WC2
