National Roadshow 2025

The Made in the UK, Sold to the World roadshows have begun, aimed at encouraging UK businesses to explore international opportunities and boost economic growth. These roadshows will provide SMEs with the resources, expert advice, and networking opportunities necessary to help them navigate the exporting process and connect with potential global buyers. The government is hoping this will maximise potential for UK businesses globally, while contributing to economic growth.

DHL Express and SunGod collaborate for sustainable exports

In partnership with DHL Express, leading performance eyewear brand SunGod will leverage DHL’s GoGreen Plus Service. As a verified Carbon Neutral B Corp, GoGreen Plus allows SunGod to mitigate the environmental impact of its international shipping, using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to inset CO2 emissions. Over the past year, the collaboration has saved SunGod 207.99 tons of CO2e achieved a 35% reduction compared to traditional jet fuel. Dougal Russell, Head of People and Planet at SunGod says: “We are delighted to be expanding our existing partnership with DHL, embracing the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel for our exports. This collaboration allows us to not only minimise our environmental impact even further, but also to challenge our competitors to do more, and collectively raise the bar for sustainability-focused logistics in our industry.”
