How to Request DHL to Hold Shipment Delivery

If you won't be home for awhile, you can request DHL Express to hold your shipment for up to 30 days.

To do this, simply follow these 8 steps.

Step 1: Visit DHL On Demand Delivery

1. Go to DHL On Demand Delivery website.
2. Select 'Malaysia'.
3. Click 'Continue'.

Step 2: Login

For frequent shippers, click 'Sign up or Login Now' to access an existing account or create one for future use.

For one-time users, click 'Manage shipment as a guest'.

Step 3: Determine Shipment for Modification

1. Enter waybill number
2. Enter Captcha
3. Click 'Submit'

Step 4: Verify Shipper Identity

1. Verify contact number
2. Click the phone icon on the left to get a passcode
3. Enter the passcode sent to the mobile
4. Click 'Submit'.

Step 5: Choose New Delivery Option

Select 'Vacation Hold'.

Step 6: Choose New Date

Select a preferred next delivery date. 

Step 7: Add Gate or Door Number (Optional)

The default selection of this is 'No'. 

To add door or gate number for better accuracy instruction, click 'yes' and enter gate or door number.

Step 8: Authorize Delivery Modification

1. Check the Term and Conditions box.
2. Click 'confirm'.
